Perched on the edge this large family house sits into the hill at the entry to Wellington with panoramic views of the harbour.  The design features large wrap around decks linking all living spaces, the solid balustrade proves protection from the wind and private outdoor living spaces enhancing the indoor outdoor living.

The build had many technical issues requiring careful planning.  The site was retained with rock anchors under the road behind before getting down to the final site level.  The site sits over the main train tunnel into Wellington and then drops away at seventy degrees.  The cladding system was among the first in New Zealand on a cavity construction.
